Application Process

• Go to My Florida License.
• Create an account.
• Log into your account. 
• Go to: https://www.myfloridalicense.com/CheckListDetail.asp?SID=&xactCode=1010&clientCode=2501&XACT_DEFN_ID=744
• At the bottom of the page, click on Apply Using Online Services.
• Select your name. 
• Review the information on the page, then click Next.

• Answer the eligibility questions. Click Next.

• Complete your name and personal details.

• Enter your address information, phone number, and email. Click Next.
• Optional: add a mailing address. Click Next.

• Answer the question about the Fee Waiver. Click Next. 

• If you are NOT requesting a fee waiver based on income, you can leave the income information blank. You can also leave the military information blank, or answer appropriately. Click Next.

If you currently hold or have previously held a business/professional license in Florida or elsewhere, add them. When you have finished (or if this is not applicable), click Next.

• Add any prior name information. Click Next. 

• Answer the questions about your education. Click Next.

• Answer Background Question #1 (Criminal History). Click Next.

• If you answered Yes to the previous question, add additional information. After you have completed that, or if you answered No, click Next.

• Answer Background Question #2 (Judgment or Decree). Click Next.

• If you answered Yes to the previous question, add additional information. After you have completed that, or if you answered No, click Next.

• Answer Background Question #3 (Application Denial). Click Next.

• Answer Background Question #4 (License Revoked). Click Next.

• Upload additional documents if necessary. Otherwise, click Next.

• Review your information. You can use the Previous buttons to return to earlier screens. Click Submit when your information is accurate.

• Click Yes to agree to an electronic signature. Click Submit.

• Pay your license fees. 

Checking the Status of Your Application

Login to https://myfloridalicense.com.

From the main menu, select Application Status Inquiry.

You will see the status of your application.
