Schedule Florida Final Exam

You cannot schedule your exam until you receive an email from the State of Florida stating that your application has been approved. In the email, you will find a link to schedule your test and your FLREAPP ID. Your FLREAPP ID is your 9-digit Candidate ID/Entity number. You will find this number in your My Florida License account AFTER you have been approved.

Test Center Information

If you find it difficult to find an appointment in your location, you may want to consider other locations. 

What To Expect At Your Exam

Plan to arrive at the center at least 30 minutes before your scheduled time. That will give you time for unexpected traffic, bathroom breaks, etc. When you arrive, you will sign in. You must bring:

  1. Two forms of identification that have your signature on them. One will be a driver’s license and the second can be a credit card or passport. 
  2. A copy of your certificate of completion from your course.

You will be given a locker key and will have to secure your personal items, so pack light. 

  • You will have to remove any watches, necklaces, etc. 
  • They will inspect your glasses. 
  • They will ask you to pat down yourself so they can see that you don’t have anything in your pockets.
  • They may ask you to pull your pockets out so they can see that they are empty.

You will be offered a small handheld calculator and an erasable note pad. There is also a calculator built into the testing software, but the handheld calculator is easier to use.

You will be escorted into the testing room where you will find noise-cancelling headphones (optional to wear). They will log in the computer and you can go through a tutorial before starting the test.

The test will consist of 100 questions, but they may include a few extra questions that they are testing out for future use. You won’t know which questions are trial questions.

You can flag questions to come back to them. This is a handy feature to use if you are unsure of an answer. Sometimes, other questions may give you clues as to the answer to that question, so you should use the flagging feature.

After you complete the exam, you will not receive your score on the computer. Someone will escort you from the room and they will provide your results on a print out. You will only see “Pass” or “Fail” – no score is provided. You will also receive an email from Pearson Vue.

After Passing the Exam

Your test results will be sent to the state by Pearson Vue. You will receive an email from the state in 2 – 3 business days following the exam with your license number.
